THE STORYTELLER. We commissioned @abelmac to create this monolithic mural for the new @downtownlaproper to give our guests a lively welcome. I joined Abel on a 16 ft scaffolding to collaborate on this eclectic flora and fauna landscape inspired by the historic, early California Beaux Arts style building. In all of my studio's projects, we always start with the story we want to tell and team up with local artists to beautify our narrative. Abel's surrealist murals capture the authentic history of the building's architecture. Downtown LA remains an incredibly diverse neighborhood and we wanted the space to echo its personality. XK
