It originated from Zen Buddhism and it was adopted into a part of the tea ceremony ritual by Senno Rikyu, the tea master. Apart from taste and flavor, you can feel the four seasons manifested in every dish with your five senses. The meal “presentation” also illustrates a “good interior design”: shape, color, texture, and many elements! It is inspiring as a designer and we can feel autumn!
