Sustainable Design

Contributing to society can be done in numerous ways and sustainable design is one of them.
According to some studies, construction and building wastes are responsible for up to 50% of climate change, 40% of energy usage globally, and 50% of landfill waste. So what is sustainable design? It starts with a timeless design so you do not need to throw out “dated furniture or dated material” every five years?
The recent issues of Interior Design Magazine feature a project done by well known Swedish designer Joanna Laven and David Wahlgren and the project illustrates what is about timeless design. It is clean, cozy, and timeless that will last for a long time. Another way of contributing to society.
