Between the ages of 22-24 I started to experience anxiety which unfortunately is too common in young people but from 25 I noticed it getting worse to the point where I had several bad panic attacks. Crouching down having an attack in the middle of Oxford Street and my mum not being able to move me was a particular low 🙃⁣ ⁣ After a few of these experiences I spoke to a friend who’s boyfriend at the time had a terrible time with anxiety and through his CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) he was advised to stay off caffeine. I decided to cut out caffeine straight away and noticed an incredible improvement in how I dealt with anxiety.⁣ ⁣ I still drink some drinks containing caffeine however I limit and control my intake and will avoid it at all costs if I’m feeling a little imbalanced.  I definitely only drink decaf tea and coffee though. That’s a must do for me. I also still suffer from anxiety but have learned to control it so much better than I used to.⁣ ⁣ This is just my experience with caffeine and it’s connection to anxiety, I’m not here trying to cure everyone but if you can relate to anything in this post and haven’t tried cutting it out - it’s worth a (decaf) shot. ☺️❤️⁣ ⁣」8月15日 3時10分 - daniellepeazer
