I have a love for backcountry treks, a zeal for mountain summits, a fun-loving edge in semi-pro mountain bike racing, a long-standing respect for nature, and an inventive knack for photography. I grew up as the third of four kids in a sleepy North Texas town where the highest landmark around was the highway overpass. Playing outside, I developed a love for mountain biking. I grew into the sport and excelled from a young age, setting records for youngest racer to win 1st place in 12- and 24-hour long endurance races. Today I continue to compete in races throughout the US and also enjoy the sport of “bikepacking” for multi-day excursions by bicycle. Furthermore, I love connecting with people. To me, nothing inspires like a good backstory, and my fervor for learning and documenting what forges people into who they are has led me to experiences I would’ve never expected. My extensive background in design paired with a unique flair for thinking outside the box fuel my endeavors as a freelance photographer. I am committed to quality gear—and if I can’t find something that suits my needs, I custom-build my own. I am a master scuba diver with over 250 hours of experience, including light cave diving.
