To this day, this is still the most beautiful black bear (yes, he’s blonde) I have ever seen. Very relaxed, very healthy, and quite hungry, he was the perfect subject. I hope to go find some black bears in the Sierras soon since this is generally the best time of year to see them foraging on grasses out in open meadows.
