What you have lived through day after day, the rest of the world has either upheld or wilfully ignored or sleepwalked through. But now no one can say they didn’t know. I’m sorry it’s taken the world this long to wake up to your suffering. It’s been painful to see my friends hurting and I’m committed to being part of the solution for however long it takes. I will never know what it’s like to be discriminated against for the colour of my skin but I know that I can and will stand up to injustice and seek equality and fight alongside you. It’s going to take a huge collective effort to make the world we want to see. Here are the charities that I’m supporting.
