I was photographing the closed down streets of Los Feliz when the owner, DJ Chavez, approached me from behind his locked gate. @kingswell_losfeliz is kind of a staple in this neighborhood, there’s usually a community of skateboarders hanging out on that block. It’s been so surreal to see gates shuttered and streets empty around here. But now that these kinds of shops can open up for curbside pick up it’s more important than ever to support our local small businesses. If you’ve got it to spend, put your money in to the people and companies you want to survive.
