We went to events together, dinners together, photoshoots together, parties together, shows together, danced together, and worked together. For someone I grew so close to, I didn’t expect our goodbye to be from so far apart. I felt sad and heavy the week she was packing. I felt like life was so stagnant right now, but her leaving was a clear signal time was very much still moving forward through all of this. I’m so proud of this woman for who she is, who she has become since I‘ve known her, and who she’s striving to be in the future.
