Lines give more strength to a man. -Kuma-

Kabuki actors draw lines on their faces depending on the characters they are playing.

We call it Kumadori, or taking lines, rather than drawing them.

The lines express the blood vessels of the face. [Mukimi] 
Mukimi lines express a refreshing and straightforward character. [Ippon guma]
When you add Ippon guma ( or makeup with one line ) , it makes you appear as  a healthy innocent character with the strong sense of justice. [Sujiguma]
When you add more lines such as Sujiguma ( or makeup with multiple lines ), it makes you turn into a superhuman with an explosive power!
