I was thankful for the silly laughter I shared with my wife as she snapped shots of me in our new backyard…a hayfield surrounded by junipers and deciduous trees that are beginning to bud, a pond with a rock to sit on and think, flowers beginning to emerge from the earth. I’m thankful for a fridge full of fresh food as of two days ago, for our tiny home, for my wife and daughter and friends and family.
