My friends and colleagues are facing incredibly difficult choices in the restaurant industry. Iliza and I are staying home and encouraging others to be responsible and do the same. . But in the meantime, we are home and working and also trying to have fun together and pass the time. So today we started making live cooking videos and q&as via @ilizas Instagram live and Facebook live and we’re calling it #dontpanicpantry . This is a wholly unplanned project to encourage people to cook or just watch us cook and hang out and NOT PANIC. It’s basically a very loose hang with me and my wife, alone in our home, cooking what I would have been cooking anyway. We will try to do it everyday! We’ll try to post ingredients/recipes and times before we start. 🍝 In this picture you see my mom’s pasta fagioli from my childhood: the subject of tonight’s live video, and my go-to comfort food.
