And before I play Pavane, I told the audience that I would like to dedicate its performance to my dear friend, Fabienne Fauvin, who passed away on Friday evening. I hope she was there and appreciated it...🙏 At the end I got a nice present from the organizer (photo 7, a Japanese style painting on the chocolate, but I'm afraid it's too beautiful to eat it!), then I was overwhelmed and totally forgot to play Chopin as encore on the occasion of his 210th anniversary..! Well, another time...🙇‍♂️ The photo 4 is with my dear friends & the organizer (Résie & Luc) . . パリから車で1時間ほど行ったメレーの古い教会で7年ぶりに演奏しました。隣街のモンフォール・ラモリ―にはラヴェルの家＆博物館があることもあり、プログラム最後にラヴェルを弾きましたが、実は演奏会二日前にフランスでお世話になった方が闘病の末亡くなられたので、「亡き王女のためのパヴァーヌ」は追悼を込めて彼女に捧げました。最後に主催者から美しい日本画が描かれたチョコレートをいただきました。アートが巧妙で美しすぎて食べられません。(苦笑) . . #Mere #musicianslife #pianist #Ravel #chocolateart #friends #メレー #ラヴェル #チョコレート」3月3日 9時25分
