I first started speaking it in Turin when I was shooting 📺 #LeRagazzeDelloSwing / #TheWingGirls for @rai1official about the Dutch Jewish sisters who had a massive singing 🎤 career in fascist Italy in the 1940ies. We spoke Italian on the show and since we also had to improv on camera I decided that I might aswell speak 🇮🇹 for the duration of my stay there. I fell in 😍 with the language and still am. It’s still one of my wishes to 🎥 in Italian again. As the true #languagenerd I am decided to do some studying 🤓 and Florence turned out to be one of the most magical cities I have visited in Italy. I stayed with a guest family 👨‍👩‍👧 and we had an elaborate dinner every night 🍝 while exclusively conversing in Italian. Turns out Italian is a lot more difficult 😫 when you go beyond speaking it causally but that’s why I love it.
