AD| Here's three of Berlin's most iconic landmarks- the first one involving a playful take on Norman Foster's dome on top of the Reichstag. When the building was refurbished in the nineties, Foster proposed a glass dome to represent a new era of transparent politics for the German people. Inside the dome there are 360 mirrors surrounding an inverted cone- cleverly the mirrors direct sunlight into the chamber below, where the politicians sit, and even more cleverly the process reverses at night when artificial light from the chamber below reflects & lights up the dome at night. The dome is open to the public and (get ready for a third cleverly) that was cleverly done as a reminder that the people are above the government and not the other way around #GermanySimplyInspiring #CreativeGermany #Berlin @germanytourism #Reichstag
