AD- Just wrapped up creating this Halloween photo for @surface_uk (pun fully intended). One of the things I get asked about is how I manage to keep both the paper & the background in focus. It's down to a technique called focus merging (or focus stacking) and it's something I learnt after I got my first Surface Book and decided I wanted to improve my editing. Before that I thought I had to ditch ideas where the depth of field was an issue, but the more I've learnt the more I've been able to explore new methods (for example the animations and videos I now make). Every concept I've posted on here since the start of 2016 has relied on a Surface device in some way to bring it to life. This month they've launched a number of new devices including the Surface Laptop 3 & the Surface Pro 7. I had a play on them at the flagship Microsoft Store in Oxford Circus a couple of weeks ago and they're great additions to the range (the laptop in particular is very sleek) #CreatedOnSurface #MySurface #Surface
