Wish I could say “take me back to Mexico” for the good weather but it was raining there too 😝 I got this question frequently which is “how do you travel and stay on track?”⬇️⁣

Firstly, When I travel, a huge part of that for me is embracing the culture, food, and experience. It’s typical that my sleep suffers a bit, I’m trying new foods, and drinking more alcohol than usual. BUT there are a few things that I do to keep myself healthy during vacation.⁣

🤸🏻‍♀️ACTIVITY: Hotels around the world usually have gyms. I like to work out in the afternoon but when I travel, I get it out the way first thing in the morning. If you need great workouts with minimal equipment check out my iOS app. I explore and take walks during the day and get to know that area I’m in. I like to do activities like surfing, golfing, paddle boarding, and other sports that keep me moving where I can still enjoy the different environment.⁣

🍱FOOD: I love trying new foods so I get new dishes that I haven’t had before that include some sort of protein and vegetable. I like to integrate greens and fiber into all of my meals so I get more volume and I’m more full of nutrients. I don’t count calories or macros so I focus more on color and quality. I make sure I get protein & veg with every meal.⁣

🍹ALCOHOL: I don’t drink much at home but when I vacation, I typically drink more. My go-to is tequila soda with lime. I stay away from the sugary drinks because that’s where the calories add up and I honestly just feel horrible when I drink them. I feel better the next day too haha.⁣

💊SUPPLEMENTS: I always bring probiotics, multivitamin, and activated charcoal with me. I don’t bring many sports supplements but sometimes I use @livbody (JANNA20) BCAAs to naturally flavor my adult drinks. If I can, I also bring the liv greens powder for extra health and the organic pre workout to get me fired up in the morning!
