Who taught you how to manifest your dreams? _ We show love based on how we perceived it as a child. My ex used to physically abuse me then cry and apologize, swearing to never do it again. I watched my parents early on fight physically then make up so in my mind unknowingly I perceived that somehow as love. I learned later my ex’s dad also would physically abuse his mom. I broke that cycle when I was 17. I almost lost my life at his hands several times. I lost a child from the abuse which was devastating. I realized only after a lot of trauma that’s not how I want to be loved. I’m still learning today how I want to receive love. It’s a constantly evolving for me. _ I never understood the power of belief I didn’t grow up in a religious home. We didn’t go to church and didn’t talk about God or a higher power. I remember making a wish on my Birthday and being told not to tell anyone or it won’t come true. I remember being told not wish for big things because I would only be disappointed so I wished small in silence. As an adult I learned how to Manifest my dreams. Tell everyone, talk and live like it’s going to happen.  The more we speak about it the more we draw it to us. All opposite of what I was taught as a child. _ As a child I was raised in home where children were seen and not heard. We couldn’t “talk back” or express our unhappiness. “Stop crying” was a common phrase not what’s wrong. All this encourages bad behavior as a way to get attention. I really never learned to properly communicate my feelings. I lashed out to be heard for a long time as a teen and adult. _ If your looking for a place to start your journey I highly suggest the book 📚 “The Four Agreements”. I recognized all these behaviors I had to unlearn. As @donmiguelruiz said I was domesticated and had to reprogram myself. Awareness is the first step on your transformation.
