After a recent trip to Australia where he encountered a Derek Hynd finless, Ventura-based shaper Todd Proctor was inspired to start working on “a new paradigm of grip and glide for the modern fish, with deep concaves, bevels and channels; a veritable smorgasbord of design concepts.” Those design concepts – on a retro fish – are put to solid use here by @petemendia ’s unmistakable railwork.
