Feeling very humbled at the moment. The World champs did not go well for me and it was the worst lead performance I’ve had at a comp. this set back reminded me of how important your mental game is in climbing. A few days before the comp, I was at a very vulnerable and overwhelmed state of mind after a conflict with a beloved family member. I was not capable of being stronger than my emotions and could not forget about my personal life when I was on the wall. While climbing, I was taken aback by the lack of confidence and body awareness which led to making costly mistakes. It was crushing to go through so many waves of emotions but at the same time, I believe my sensitivity and compassion for climbing and for people I love, enriches life to the fullest💫🌠. Obstacles come at me with tremendous force but also happiness comes at my by the 10x fold because of the struggles❤️ motivated to train for the upcoming lead comps later in the year after a little break:)) also, I need to climb outside and detox from the high amount of stress at indoor comps😂 very very proud for @brookeclimbs on crushing throughout the comp and getting a spot for 2020! You and @brookeclimbs just did that sweet video with @mccollsean for my daughter Paige😍 and these words are so meaningful and raw and inspiring. We all love you and are in awe of you.

michael_deza @ashimashiraishi the saying cannot be truer "wherever you go, there you are." ascension seems to be more revelatory than defining, illuminating our inner state of being. Sometimes we climb a mountain in freedom of flow, other times we carry one as we do so. You are only stronger having gone through it 🙏
