SWIPE to read ➡️ Last night while I was unpacking, I found a journal entry I had written during America’s Next Top Model and it really hit me. In a good way, I think. My biggest critique during the show (that they didn’t air btw) was that I was flat. A bit boring. Lacking that “boss” quality. I was told several times that I need to pick a lane. That has always been a struggle of mine, and I hate that society and Instagram make you pick one thing to be. On ANTM, I wasn’t the bitch or the goody-two-shoes or the cheer leader... I was just me. I like to think I can get along with a lot of different people because I can adapt and find something in common with just about anybody. But being pleasant, kind, easy to work with, and respectful are not the reasons you go viral on Instagram or stand out on a reality TV show, and that was what I battled the whole experience. I battle this stress and pressure everyday on Instagram too, thinking I need to be a “travel blogger” or “fashion blogger” or “model” yadah yadah yadah... Not looking for sympathy -your girl is just fine 😊 I just want to share my goal moving forward: I want to show you who I am and embrace the different sides of myself. One day, you‘ll get a goofy video, the next day a high fashion modeling shot, the next day a photo of me playing my favorite sport 🏐 and the next day, nothing, because I’m doing something personal that I don’t want to plaster on the internet... and so on. Anywayssss I’m here to say that you don’t have to pick a lane. Be whoever you want to be, and find a way to make all your interests work in synchrony. I’m going to practice what I preach and work hard to make this happen for myself too :) love you all. Thanks for following along and adapting to whatever I decide to be on this platform. You guys are the reason I keep it going and don’t quit Instagram altogether. So thanks beauties 💋

nixhtha ‘I make my presence known with my performance’ is my new motto for life. Youre very inspiring for me, India. Youre so talented and youre such a kind person. Things like this can go unnoticed but i personally like to appreciate these qualities in people, considering the fact that i posses these qualities myself. Idk if that makes alot of sense honestly. Im in a crowded place so cant hear myself think. But, i just want you to know that your existence, your talent, creativity, kindness and everything else that makes you YOU is well appreciated by alot of people. One of the people being my 10 year old sister who saw you on ANTM and has decided that she wants to be like you. As a person ♥️

kvratz You were my favourite on ANTM from the beginning because you were just you!! You were(not to be cliche) but down to earth and that even resonated through the show. I like your instagram because your real it’s not always perfect modeling shot after modeling shot your just posting what you want to post and being real with it and doing your own thing! It’s refreshing in the social media world now. I just wanted to say this and that you’re my all time favourite ANTM winner 😁😁

leckakay Very well said India. I struggle with the same thing because I have so many interests, but everything tells you to niche down in order to be successful... so it's hard for a jack of all trades to stand out. You have a great platform and are working on you as a person and a professional, which is all you can ask for. Keep glowing, showing your variety, and succeed while kicking the algorithm's butt!

angel.in.lb I just saw for the first time your ANTM. I thought I'd seen all the shows but not your season. I was rooting for the girls with the mauve hair from the first episode I saw until the last. That was you. So I started following you on Instagram. I liked who you were on the show ... your attitude struck me as a winner. You go girl and keep shining!💖

kristenstickley73 I have wonderful memories from college of my friends and I all piled up in a bed watching every episode of your season as it came out, all of us rooting for you because we all related to you in one way or another. Your work was magical but your personality was (is) sparkling ✨ anyway I love this, keep being you!! 💕
