Contemporary surf photography seems to be at its peak. We thought: is it even possible to give surf photography a significant leap forward? We partnered with @gopro on an idea that pitted two teams up against one another (@shanedorian + @anthony_walsh_ v @mikalajones__ + @rycraike_offgridwithakid) to find out. With no fixed destination, we were prepared to go anywhere in the world to provide the best canvas. Australia was the eventual target and the results have blown our mind.
