Some early scenes from this year’s #stabinthedark in South Africa. This year we decided to invite all previous talent from our four iterations along with the six best performing shapers, a kinda all-stars edition. Rather than number all of the boards, each has been assigned a colour for the bottom and rails, each board scaled up and down for the surfer’s size. @mfanno may have been injured after 24 hours and bailed home but not before some highly energetic surfing and finding a winner. @sealtooth and @ジョーディ・スミス have now ridden almost all boards with only one absolute elimination each so far. It might seem strange to read but testing surfboards looks kinda stressful. Oh, and @ジュリアン・ウィルソン couldnt make it. Photos: @alanvangysen
