True talk Estelle. The British black experience is unique as I feel we're more unified culturally as a black community, from what I see in comparison to the US for example. The first generations of immigrants from all over the British colonies (including Asians) all had to settle together in the same communities and ended up looking out for each other in response to the hostility of the white population already here. That's why i believe the UK youth culture and music is so popping now because that fusion is naturally there, so particularly the UK "Afro-Bashment" sound is so appealing because it perfectly merges two cultural styles that makes its appeal spread further. If the US black community can begin to embrace the other diasporic cultures amongst them it could be crazy! Not just for music but as a wider community in so many ways. Keep having the conversation 👏👏♥️♥️

We are all subject to the marketing and promotion of a media that holds us as less. Of course there will always be divisions among humans no matter the circumstances. It is up to us to promote the good and greatness of each other. In my life, I have absolutely seen more good from people than I have seen not good. The problem is that it is easier and faster to promote the negative than the positive. So I just love. Secure in the knowledge that love is the truth. And more powerful and prevalent than the alternative

That’s true ... Stop blaming Black Africans people even you never been in Africa or learning history about Africa ... always shows África on the medias negative story ... You can ask Nas, Jay Ja Rule, Rihanna, Naomi Campbell and many more ... Africa it’s not only South Africa ... Some people thinks Africa Is A Country ... No! Africa is a Continent with fifty four countries ... Travel people don’t go only Dubai learning your history and your background!

Well in my experiences they ( Africans) believe we have left or forgot our African Culture only stating from what “ I was told” we’re not taking full advantage of the opportunities here in America , some believe we are lazy some was told not to deal with us once their over here all These are just some of my experiences

In her words, f@#k your boxes. Why do black Americans love placing folks in boxes? You're African, you're British black, you're Jamaican, you're from Haiti, you're from Sudan. When uou do this you think other black folk will accept you? Black Americans ldo

I'm about unity, but if we as ADOS vote Democrat our entire life, and they can't fight for what we need as Americans, why vote for them ? LGBT just got reparations, there fighting for DACA. All we want is affordable housing and less discrimination.
