Guess when this picture was taken.
Saturday, August 3rd, 2019. In Galveston Texas.
This man Donald Neely was arrested for trespassing and this happened next. This is not a drill. White supremacists are ratcheting it up y’all.

@noir.pouvoir Atheletes??? What’s wrong with that? Black people have been able to accomplish and in the process break down many of the racial barriers placed on them through athletics... see Jackie Robinson, Muhammed Ali, Williams Sisters, Tiger Woods etc... I am not denying what you see in your neighborhood where you grew up is not validated and that your own experiences as a black man are unique to you in a way that 80 percent of this country wouldn’t understand. What I’m trying to convey is that the same way your experiences have been what they’ve been along with most black neighborhoods in America being what they are there’s a reason for that. To look at black peoples lot in America and say they have arrived at this point because they have not taken responsibility or accountability for themselves without acknowledging all the efforts that have been made and are continued to be made by black people that speak otherwise is simply victim blaming... in other words we have to acknowledge that black people are victims of an oppressive regime and until that oppression seizes to exist we will never know the true potential of the black race in America. When we look at the picture of that young man we both agree that he probably committed a crime and therefore that makes him a criminal but we also have to give him the context he deserves by acknowledging that he is also a victim. Therefore he should not have been humiliated in that manner.

@robertoleon1860 I'm a black person born and raised in predominantly black neighborhoods. I don't see this accountability and care for the communities welfare you speak of. How could this be when Black people literally worship drug dealers, prostitutes, hoes, rappers and athletes? Even educated Black people don't have a problem with how negative Black culture has become nowadays. I also understand we have overt and covert oppressors. I believe I've delt with more racism than most black people my age. The last thing racism urges me to be is a criminal, thats not very logical to me, subsequently my oppressor now has a good reason to oppress me. I've been following along with world events since I've been here. I know all about the FBIs plan to get rid of any Black "messiah" and the "war" on drugs. I guess I give Black people too much credit, to me that's not enough to thwart my races progression. Now if Black people gave up on themselves that's a different story.

@robertoleon1860 We have very different views on the plight of the Black man. Presently I believe if oppression was completly erased I don't think anything would change in the Black community, If our ancestors weren't oppressed we would probably run the world. Muhammad Ali is a great example of a someone to look up to as a person, not because he was a great athlete. Idol worship destroys Black youths self worth and drive to bed anything other than someone the world knows. Damn near every Black person wants to be famous at all cost. They don't want to be anything that will help build and sustain a thriving community.

What i don't understand is all the blacks we have in the United States of America & non of us are coming 2gether to put an end to this. We have 2 do something this is HORRIBLE.. In my 39yrs of life i NEVER thought we'd go backwards. This pic alone shows us that we are & their HAPPY about it. This white supremacist/privilege has 2 be completely ERADICATED. If not i fear for our children. Their targeted @ an alarming rate.

Y’all see the comments by white ppl .. they see no error n none of this because they feel like whatever a black person gets they deserve it. Cause they black .. no need to try to reason or explain anything. They waiting for it to pop off.. trust me they got an arsenal stashed n looking forward to it. The question is when we gone do something.. other than talk?? 🤷🏽♂️

😂😂😂 oh ok, we just deleting my comments now. I guess I dont get freedom of speech around here. This is not the 1st time TX law enforcement has tied someone to a horse and wont be the last. My friend got popped for public intoxication and disorderly conduct in Ft. Worth a few years back, the boys did him the same way.
