I still love writing blog posts. I’ve read so many articles about the death of the blog but for me it is still a big part of what I do. I want to have a space that is my own (outside of Instagram) and a place where I can share more than just a quick photo with a caption. I love writing recommendations for places we’ve been, sharing clothing or brands that I love, and in general curating a website that feels entirely me. Just sharing how I feel, since I know it can feel a bit repetitive to read posts that always end with a direction to visit “the link in my bio” - it’s because it’s important to me to still be a blogger. 💛

annacupofcoffee I think I’ll always love reading blogs! It feels like a different window or perspective of an individual even if you follow them elsewhere. It’s like when you order your favorite or the same dish at a restaurant and it happens to be a special so they put a different twist on it. It’s still what you love and remember but special.

seaofshoes I believe people still enjoying reading them. I know I do! It’s still my preferred method of sharing for a lot of the reasons you mentioned. It’s more personal and creative. Long live the blog!

ana.da.rocha Personally I would prefer if Instagram caption could have the ability to include the link, for sure people would again be into blogs more. I like blogs more. So keep on blogging 💛
