✔️ THATS RIGHT !!!!!!! Ta ta to these... what have been life savours. What a milestone! She is finally/ officially off them & going strong! 💪🏼 I KNOW there are more dummy’s shes planted around the house ( she clearly knew this day was coming) .. so I’m literally going to turn the place upside down before I pick her up from nursery!! 😂🤦🏻♀️ Stay strong to those mummys & daddies doing the same! It’s SO worth it !! 🤞🏼

@binkyfelstead thank you so much for posting this. You gave me the push I needed to ditch my 2yo’s dummies! She has been without now for over 24 hours & I’m astounded by the change in her. She’s talking way more than she ever has & it honestly feels like she’s happier. I know it won’t always be easy but you gave me the courage to get on with it so thank you! 😄 🙌🏼

We threw them all in the bin. My little girl was hard to settle as the comfort she’s been so used to was gone, but in no time at all she was fine and actually better for it! Many more words and much easier to settle as she can do it herself. Sometimes she asks where they are and I say in the bin. She goes ... ok 💞✨

This is horrible . Think of all the single use plastic , that will never break down . Why do parents give their babies these nasty things ? As a sole parent I never needed one of these !!! The environmental impact is terrible , and those dummies will be floating around when you daughter had children.

My son was very hesitant to give up his dummies and we had many tears so I told him that as he was now a big boy Father Christmas would not come if he still had them. Needless to say the thought of no presents was enough for him to put them all in the bin himself!
Some might say cruel but it worked!

My daughter was nearly five when we finally got rid of them. We tried every trick in the book. In the end, mummy cut the tops off cause she’d get them out the bun. You know what, she slept through straight away and never missed them. Kids will guilt trip you, stay strong 💪 💕

So true! I never thought we would be dummy free until my eldest gave them up a year ago. We gradually reduced her using it over months until she didn’t want them. Make sure you find every last one! We’re still finding them in toy boxes and under beds!
