People tell you pieces about the postpartum period. Some you expect and some things scare the sh#t out of you. One thing that NO ONE talks about is the stress and strain the first year (or years) puts on relationships. Especially the one with your partner. Lack of sleep, stress, navigating new feelings about being a parent, hormones, work balance - all play a role. But here’s the good news. Anything worth fighting for isn’t easy. But if you are fighting together in the same direction then you’ll be just fine. My advice? Give grace. Be empathetic. Lead with love. Both people are doing the best they can. When you do, you will be stronger, wiser and more in love on the other side.❤️

This is perfectly said every word .. mine didn’t make it through the other side after the second baby unfortunately .. but yeah everything you wrote is what it takes and is what required ❤️

Also, try not to make big decisions during that first year if you can. Sleep deprivation raises the stakes. (Sometimes it cant be helped, but other times it can wait)
