It was during a paragliding expedition many years ago that I first caught a glimpse of this ancient ruin. The color of the building’s stonework, coupled with the bright blue skies above, took my breath away. I asked pilot Gavin McClurg to fly near it so I could try to capture this beautiful ancient world but add some modernity to it. We were only able to try it once, but I liked the way it turned out.
