On the invitation of Today at Apple, the New Museum selected a distinguished group of artists, many of whom have a long history with the Museum, to create AR artworks as part of this project: Nick Cave, Nathalie Djurberg and Hans Berg, Cao Fei, John Giorno, Carsten Höller, and Pipilotti Rist. We worked with the artists and Apple to help choreograph [AR]T Walk—a guided walking tour of six AR art pieces starting at select Apple Stores around the world. Additionally, Apple invited NEW INC member and educator Sarah Rothberg to create an in-store session that teaches how to create AR experiences available in all Apple Stores around the world. .
