Ichida Toronagashi Fireworks Festival

The Ichida Toronagashi Fireworks Festival is held annually on August 18th.
As part of Obon, families here send lanterns down the Tenryu river in remembrance of the deceased. During the evening, large fireworks are launched into the sky.
The number of fireworks launched during the festival are the highest of any in the area. Please stop by to see one of the Ina Valley’s traditional summer spectacles.
