I called Vancouver home, though my origin was as intertwined as the root system of a cedar tree. ⠀ My dad was responsible for teaching me Lebanese folk dance and my mom’s role was to to feed me all the hummus. ⠀ I am the sibling to 3 sisters and 1 brother. My fondest childhood memory is when we howl with each other over the stupid things we did as a kid. We did a lot of stupid stuff. Bless my mom’s soul. ⠀ If you asked me what I wanted to be when I was older, you’d get my big brown eyes batting their thick lashes as I sing-say “a princess!!!” ⠀ Then I wanted to be a scientist because I loved flowers. ⠀ And then I wanted to be a singer. ⠀ And then one day I was too conflicted to think of my dreams.
