Matsumoto Castle, whose contrast of black and white is strikingly beautiful, is one of five National Treasure castles as well as one of the country’s top 100 castles.
The view of the castle at night, floating amid the darkness of the sky and watery moat, is altogether different than its appearance during the day and definitely worth a look.
