In a move that coincides with our 50th anniversary year in #Scotland, our new offices in #Edinburgh are now open, located in @theedinburghgrand, a recently renovated historic building in a prominent position on St Andrew Square. From 13th to 16th August, the venue will play host to a public exhibition comprising the contents of our forthcoming annual #Scottish Art sale in #London this September.

Painted circa 1920, ‘Still Life with Melon’ by Samuel John Peploe demonstrates the artist’s fascination with shape and form as well as colour and tone. The spherical melon sits just off-center, whilst the pink #roses are dramatically cropped and thrown into relief against the green drapery behind.
