Sister-friend, we are all SO LUCKY to have you! You have taught us about relentless advocacy, humility, courage, and above all, love. G said it best. You’re always pointing towards others. Fighting for others. Loving others. You’re a legend.

**Now, before anyone flips out about “women leading,” the whole point of, as Abby says, “passing us the damn ball” is that we are out here fighting for equity. For fairness. For a level playing field in this game called life. That INCLUDES men. That demands that we build bigger tables where everyone has a seat. ‘Cause 50% of the population, with 50% of the information, making 100% of the decisions hasn’t worked out too well for most folks. So. Give us the damn ball. Move over and let us pull up some chairs. Pass the mic. The social science data and financial data alllllllll show that when parity exists, communities get happier and ROI’s go up up up. So yeah it’s morally right to fight for equity, but it also has hella great social and financial benefits. Don’t be scared. Level the scales. Let us in the c suite, the boardroom, and the friggin’ White House. It’s time.**

As my other sweet dear sister-friend @glennondoyle said of her brilliant wife’s words, “that’s the tea. THE EQUALITEA.” Yup. She said it. It’s coined. Who’s making the shirts!? ✊🏼🎉⚽️♥️💥 #WorldCup2019 #EQUALITEA #PayThemWhatYouOweThem

My girls are soccer players. One started at 4 (she's 16), the other at 3 (now 9). We watch every single game, we tape the ones we aren't home for. They have been watching these women for most of their lives. The older one has passed her smaller USWNT jerseys down to the younger one. And they are so lucky to have such great role models. I am able to point to nearly every press release, social media post, interview, etc and say - that's how it's done. This is clearly a group of women who puts team first. Alex Morgan - "I would love for someone on our TEAM to win the Golden Boot." They use their voices to advocate for others, as well as themselves. They stand up for what's right - to anyone. They are determined, they are persistent, they are straight-forward, and they are strong They work hard, and they are proud of their work. I am beyond grateful.

Women should have just as must power and rights as men but the men’s World Cup made 6 billion dollars and paid 7% of that to the players last year but the women’s World Cup made 131 million paying 21% of that out to the players. So the women made a higher percentage of the revenue than the men’s so you literally cannot pay them as much as men if they do not generate as much revenue.

When you find out whose making the EQUALITEA shirts let us know so we can cop one. Also, I say at least 25% of the shirt proceeds go to the development of women’s soccer so that women everywhere can have the resources they need to play their best soccer. And yes, for the love please pay these ladies the $$$$ they deserve. They earned that bread.

I saw a post about the differences between the pay for men and women when the team looses a game, so my question is when a women’s team looses do the spectators who paid to watch the game get a refund? As the men docket paid for looses a game. Also are prices for concessions different prices?
