Millions of animals have been following these ancient routes yearly, and fossil evidence suggests they’ve been in the area for a million years. Somehow they know when they need to move, and they go suddenly—on mass, following rains and fresh grass. They’re usually quite predictable, but this year they started a full month earlier than usual. If this is due to changes in weather patterns as is being suggested by ecologists, it’s going to be interesting to see how well the animals do this calving season and if this sudden shift is yet another warning to us that the natural world is under immense strain. #wildebeestmigration #maasaimara #ancientmigrations #changingecosystems #thereisnoplanetb

adaortiz60 I agree that this is a warning sign of immense strain in natural world. Animals have their senses well developed to feel changes. More than the humane animal specie! We must (as supposedly the reasonable or rational specie on Earth!) be aware and take intelligent and 'wise' steps to end damage done to our Home Earth for the best of ALL living creatures including flora! Of course, change is part of the natural world and Universe, but not change which do damage life on it. ??⚡⛅❄????????????✨?????????????????☺
