The first time I heard Andrea sing this song, was at his concert in Portofino about 6 or 7 years ago. The sound of Andrea’s voice together with the wonderful orchestra created a magical atmosphere in the open air under the Italian summer night sky - people dressed so elegantly.... Ornella Muti,Sophia Loren,Michael Caine in the audience...I still remember - after the song“Somos Novios”David Foster, who was the host of the event, took the mic and asked the audience who would like to sing next...Ornella Muti’s daughter jumped up from her chair and said she wanted to sing-so she got the mic and did the most beautiful jazz a capella. after that David went through the rows and stop in front of my seat, looked at me, and asked if i’d like to sing something. I wasn’t in anyway prepared to sing, I didn’t even have an evening dress....no, I wearing a simple summer dress and ballerinas. but I couldn’t lose this chance ! So I said Yes! And I did...and it was a standing ovation. I don’t know why...maybe people saw my strange girly look and didn’t even expect that little girl can sing an opera..or maybe (I hope)they loved my singing?
