Photo by @max.lowe I Under full moons respite and exposure, we hiked up and away from the edge of the mighty Colorado River and into the hot night air. From the vantage of the trails above as we climbed towards the prehistoric Nankoweap Granaries, the river seemed less the raging force we had grown to know it as, and nothing more than a snaking silver ribbon cutting the darkness of the canyons rim above.
