#ExhibitionForNotreDame: This 2019 painting by Jia Aili will be presented at Gagosian, Paris, as part of "An Exhibition for Notre-Dame." Proceeds from the show will be directed to support the renovation and restoration of the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris.

In Jia's epic tableaux, which move between genre painting, portraiture, fantasy, and abstraction, he reflects on the dramatic modernization of society while probing the vulnerabilities of the existential human condition.
