In 1996, Surfline introduced the world’s first surf cam, at our home base of Huntington Beach, California. By 2009, there were 58 peppered around the world. By 2014, we expanded that number to 117. Now, we have well over 500. And they’re used in all kinds of different ways. Our goal by the end of 2019 is to give you over 600 opportunities to check the surf at some of the best lineups on earth. From the US, Japan, Spain and beyond. Here’s a few of our favorite moments captured by our cams from the past few years.
