タロンガ動物園さんのインスタグラム写真 - (タロンガ動物園Instagram)「Everyone we would like you to meet Susan and Joanne, these two wonderful ladies make up a very small percentage of our volunteer family here at Taronga.⠀ ⠀ Susan has been volunteering here at Taronga for 22 years, whilst Joanne has been here for over 8 years. Both women love working with people and animals. ⠀ 'We get to meet an amazing amount of people from all over the world' says Susan.⠀ ⠀ This week was National Volunteer Week, it is a week about acknowledging all of the amazing work our 650 Volunteers do across Taronga. We have over 45 volunteer roles and between all of them, our Volunteers just like Susan and Joanne contribute to over 110,000 hours of service each year. They are dedicated, driven individuals who some travel as far as Newcastle, the Blue Mountains, Lithgow and Orange just to name a few.⠀ ⠀ All our conservation programs that are run across 33 countries simply wouldn't be possible without the passion, enthusiasm and hard work of all these incredible individuals. ⠀ ⠀ Together, they represent a community of diverse and incredible people who care about our wildlife and the environment.
