This is the Legendary acting teacher Ron Van Lieu. A group of former NYU Graduate Acting students gathered at our friend Elizabeth Cuthrell’s to honor him. He has since taught at Yale School of Drama, and now Heads the Columbia Grad Acting program. He is the man behind many Oscar winning artists ( and Emmys and Tonys and Obies). He has single handedly created a family. Every student under his tutelage has a deep connection; a vocabulary, an inherent understanding. As one person said yesterday “I feel seen and known when I am with his NYU alums.” It’s the greatest gift ever. Keep spreading your wisdom and spark Ron. We love you. ❤️ @
