Although it is a procedure under the umbrella of healthcare please ask yourself if it is a human being .A part of our body would be an ear, an arm ,a nose, a liver etc.But when you refer to educating ourselves it seems reasonable to ask that we all educate ourselves about the actual "procedure" and what it actually is and that there are two humans involved.The mother and the child. Sadly Roe V Wade was decided because the woman said she was raped .The decision was based on that understanding and supposed truth that because she was raped she was able to termi ate.This ,as we have now found out from the woman involved in the case, that she lied and was not raped .The ruling morphed through the years to an ability for pregnancies to be terminated at almost any time.I was once a pro choice believer because I really didnt know the facts. As inconvenient as a pregnancy can be for some women or couple , it is still terminating a human life. ----- Plain and Simple.Its sad to think that sea turtles are protected and you could be arrested for disrupting a turtle nest but a human life doesn't have that much worth.

I used to love Michelle Branch since I was kid until before I read this post. I am praying for a baby for almost 6 years now and still not able to bear one. This post is so devastating for us barrens. A fertilized egg is not like a tumor or a cancer cell that should be killed in order to live longer. We are struggling so much so that the egg will meet the sterm and become a new life, and that we be finally called mommy and daddy.

So sad to hear this from a WOMAN who had her own baby a few months ago . Michelle please educate yourself about how an abortion procedure is . This is about killing a living being , a baby just cuz it’s inconvenient for the mother . Is it fair? I hope your little boy grows up being healthy and full of life. A baby or a child doesn’t have to pay the price of our mistakes . Unfollowed.

I dont beleive in abortions its murder unless it will cause the life of mother or baby during birth i think abortions should not be allowed unless the mother will die in birth or jf the fetus is sick or wont make it. But just to have an abortion because you dont want to be pregnant thats murder

Yes your body your rules. Nobody argues with that. But an abortion involves the termination of a completely different organism with a completely different genetic code. This is a fact. You are greatly misled.

Wow. This whole abortion debate sucks. You do have a right to do what you please, but embryos are alive. They should have a voice but they don't stand a chance. We were all embryos at one point.
