So hop to it and if one of you wins, let’s go on a burger road trip! I made one for some inspo so feel free to take my recipe and put your own spin on it! Recipe: 3/4 lb ground beef 1/4 lb crimini mushrooms, pulsed until finely chopped in a food processor 1 tsp dried chives 1 tsp kosher salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper 1/4 tsp ground cumin 1/4 tsp ground coriander 4 strips Crispy Bacon 2 Sunny Side Up Eggs 2 slices Pepper Jack or Fontina Cheese 2 Brioche buns, toasted Transfer the ground beef and chopped mushroom to a large bowl. Add in the chives, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cumin and coriander. Using your hands, incorporate everything together. Form the mixture into two 1/2"-thick patties. Grill mushroom beef burgers over medium heat until medium, roughly 4-6 minutes per side. Add the cheese for the last minute to melt. Serve each patty in a burger bun topped with the sunny side up egg and equal amounts of bacon. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
