Lake Nojiri—A Place to Enjoy Both History and Nature

Lake Nojiri can be found in the town of Shinano.
Famous for the fossils of Naumann’s Elephant that were found here, Lake Nojiri is also home to the Nojiriko Naumann Elephant Museum.
You can also ride on a pleasure cruise and leisurely enjoy the lake and its scenery.
