What do you see reflected back at you? Start in the mirror and condition yourself to love and accept yourself fully through the good times and the bad.

I used to think a good day meant doing the poses well. But now every day is a good day, whether I nail it or topple out of the poses. It’s a paradigm shift that for me is the essence of yoga.
_
If life is a dream, I want to breathe it all in fully and in its totality, in shadow and in light.
_
What’s in your heart is what you see reflected in the world around you. All of what you think are “their” problems are really your own. It’s not that you don’t have a point when you’re ranting, you probably do. But the hook, the trigger, the thing that makes you even able to see the problem means that you have that same thing somewhere within yourself. It’s the old adage of if you spot it, you got it.

Some people take this concept and think they can never share anything but positivity. That would be two dimensional and impossible. Instead, the idea is to be both loving and provide a correction, bring kind and disciplined, a balance of two seemingly opposing forces. But, that starts with yourself.
_
Love, true love is not predicated on good outcomes. Conditional acceptance is given only when the outcome is good and is not there with you when you’re down and out. There’s a reason why everybody loves a winner. Not everyone has the grit to stay with people through highs and lows. First learn to integrate your whole self, the light and the shadow. Say yes to everything that you are, not in blindness but with open eyes and a full heart.

It takes years and sometimes centuries to create something. And only a short time to destroy and tear it all down. Be mindful of what you create and what you destroy. You have the power to create whole worlds.
