That’s because farmers can’t keep up with demand. Right now, the growing process for hemp is expensive and doesn’t yield consistent crops. For CBD to be broadly distributed, the growing process needs to become more efficient.
Retail sales of CBD consumer products in the U.S. are forecast to reach $16 billion by 2025. The “green rush” could be a huge opportunity for producers — if these problems are solved.
