The U.S. economy may be strong, but a top executive at FedEx said its international business has been weakening, especially in Europe. Now he’s flagging serious concerns about the global economy.
FedEx just missed on earnings and slashed full-year guidance. They reported declining international revenue, citing unfavorable exchange rates and the negative effects of trade battles.
FedEx shares have also dropped roughly 27% in the past year, lagging the XLI industrial ETF’s 1% decline.
