It’s a bit strange!!! Ha ha. My first born loaf. After my first post I tried a slice. Not bad. A little dense maybe? I don’t think it rose quite enough. My cousin John Townshend works at Kennington Bakery which is an artisan baker. He gave me Chris Young’s “Slow Dough Real Bread” a while back. Chris is the coordinator of The Real Bread Campaign. I am inspired by my cousin and the book to try to make decent proper bread.#kenningtonbakery

64% is the key to a good loaf. However much flour you use, 64% of the flour weight is the amount of water to add. Trust me, been baking for years.

OMG. These comments are hysterical!! The names for the loaf that people came up with!! I think ‘Let Me Love Open the Loaf’ is my favorite!!

I tried making some hot cross buns last week the taste was there but too dense & dry 🙄 I’ll give it another try soon

Baking bread is like playing the guitar. The more you practice it the better you get. Looks good.
