My son is doing a bread making internship with a bread educator who makes outdoor cob ovens. My son is learning how to make bread with sourdough starter. Our kitchens a mess - flour everywhere - but it’s so sweet and when he gets it right it’s amazing.

If you are going to tackle sourdough you have to make sure to have someone around to feed the starter regularly. Something I learned from sad experience.

Pete it seems that needs more kneeding. Just kneed and rest a little a couple of times next time. Surfice should be softer.
